Hello all :) Spring is nearly upon us here is the Uk and I love it! The weather is feeling alot milder and my family and I have been enjoying the sun. We went out up the park today and I can sense the turning of the season. Hopefully winter has given it up for the nicer weather. The buds are starting show along the branches of the long, poorly looking trees! It wont be long now until they start to blossom. The birds were tweeting happily as they can feel the changes coming too :) For those who follow the Pagan path and follow the Wheel of the Year, on Saturday it is the spring equniox, known as Ostara. The light and dark hours of this day will be in total balance. Its time now to rejoice in the fact that the sun will start to tip the the scales and we will enjoy more hours of sunlight during the day. Personally I love this time of the year. I find it fascinating to see the earth awakening from the dark and dingy depths of winter. The baby lambs grazing on the mountain with their mums is a sight to make the heart truely sing. Its a time of life and rebirth for the animals and mother nature. Its a lovely time now to start planting a little herb garden, sowing seeds for new life. Happy Spring Equinox all for saturday.. Ooooh and spoil your mums on Sunday.. they deserve it! :) XXX
